Terms of service

Service Area/Yard Sizing:

Our base pricing covers up to an 1/8 acre (5,445sqft) service area of the client’s designated yard (front, back, side). Additional charges will apply to larger service areas. A service area is the area DVS will be removing pet waste from. DVS will measure the service area on the 1st service and will apply the correct yard upgrade add-on (when applicable). Service and add-on pricing may change and is listed either on the website or signup form. Yard Size Upgrade applies to one-time and subscription-based services.

Additional Services:

Additional services may include but are not limited to yard sanitizer & deodorizer treatments, yard upgrades, excessive pet waste removal fees.

Odor Eliminator (odor remover & sanitizing treatment) quickly removes odors from urine, stool, vomit, and other organic matter. Product can be used on grass, artificial turf, concrete, gravel, brick, and more. This special formula is safe for use around pets, lawns, and landscaping. The microbes and enzymes in the product lock onto the odor source and digest the pet soils until removed. Product is sprayed onto yard surfaces. Product can be applied before rain, which activates the product more. Results from odor eliminators and sanitizing treatments may vary based on environmental conditions, frequency of application, and pet usage. No guarantee of odor elimination or pathogen reduction is made. For best results and to allow the product to fully dry, Dogville Scoopers recommends waiting at least 30 minutes, or until the treated area appears completely dry, before allowing pets to re-enter the yard.

If a customer signs up for a monthly service and they haven't removed pet waste from their yard within 3 weeks, the customer must add-on the one-time "heavy doody clean" fee (found in the add-ons section). If 1-2 months (6-8 weeks) since "last time cleaned" must add-on "Super Doody Clean". If 3-4 months since "last time cleaned" must add-on "Mega Doody Clean". If 5+ months since "last time cleaned" must add-on "Extreme Heavy Doody Clean". DVS has the right to add this fee to the service if the customer didn't manually add the fee at checkout. If a customer pauses recurring service and pet waste accumulates for 3+ weeks without being cleaned, the applicable heavy cleaning fee will apply upon resuming service.

If a yard contains an excessive amount of pet waste beyond what was indicated at sign-up or beyond what can reasonably be completed within a standard service visit, DVS reserves the right to skip the service and reschedule it to a designated Heavy Doody cleanup day. Additional charges for excessive pet waste may apply based on the condition of the yard at the time of service. Service includes removal of visible pet waste. Waste that is hidden, buried, or not reasonably visible (e.g., under leaves, mulch, snow, or debris) may not be removed.

If any service exceeds one (1) hour due to excessive accumulation or misrepresentation of yard conditions, additional time will be billed at $15 per 15-minute increment beyond the first hour. This would be in addition to any heavy cleanup fees applied or to be applied.

Billing/Charges:

Clients are charged on the 1st of each month for that month's service. Monthly invoice amount is calculated based on a 52-week period. For example, 1x/Week service at $16 per visit is $16x52 weeks= $832/12 months= $69.33/month

If a client signs up mid-month, we will only charge for the cleanings left in that month—based on the chosen plan’s per-visit rate. If a client signs up near the end of a billing cycle and receives a promotional first service (such as “First Service Free”), DVS reserves the right to process the upcoming month’s service charges at the time of sign-up so the account is active for the next billing cycle.

Clients agree to pay the service fees as per the pricing plan chosen at the time of sign up. If the plan needs to be changed, client will reach out to DVS prior to monthly renewal. The new plan will become effective on the new billing cycle. No credits or refunds will be given for the change in plans. Clients must keep a valid credit card on file for monthly charges. Cash and check are not accepted.

Late payments or declining cards will be subject to a $10 late fee. Skipped services due to lack of payment will not receive a credit. The full monthly payment will be due with accrued fees if services are continued.

Promotion codes are not valid on biweekly (HERO15 can be used on biweekly), add-on, or one-time services. 1st service free is not valid on biweekly, one-time, or add-ons.

DVS reserves the right to terminate service due to the follow (but not limited to): repeated declined payments, missed payments, unsafe conditions, or failure to comply with our terms.

Service Scheduling & Access:

To ensure efficient route scheduling, Dogville Scoopers, LLC (“DVS”) reserves the right to modify service days as necessary to optimize service routes. Clients will be notified of any service day changes via email.

Clients must provide unrestricted access to the service area on the scheduled day. DVS can't schedule specific times with customers as we operate on optimized routes. If access is blocked, a DVS employee feels unsafe to enter, or any other reason making the yard inaccessible, DVS will charge for the visit, and the service will be skipped.

To ensure the safety of our team and maintain efficient service, we require all dogs be secured indoors or in a separate area away from the service area during scheduled cleanings. No dogs are allowed in the service area during the time of service. DVS will skip a yard if a pet is not secured. A $5 fee will be charged if DVS reschedules the service after skipping the yard due to an access issue. Rescheduling of service is not guaranteed. If a client is present and intervenes to remove the dog or access restraints, causing delays in the service, a $5 fee will be charged.

Due to the nature of route-based scheduling, we are unable to fulfill service day requests or reschedule individual visits. Services are completed according to our established routes.

Liability & Safety:

DVS is not responsible for damage to your property due to unmarked obstacles, unsecured pets, hazardous conditions, or gates and fences that haven't been properly maintained (Ex: gate latch not locking, sagging of fence or gate, etc.). Client assumes all responsibility for gate and fence integrity and releases Dogville Scoopers from liability related to gate or fence failure. If service includes installation, Dogville Scoopers is not responsible for damage to underground utilities, irrigation systems, septic components, or landscaping features that are not clearly marked or visible.

Clients must ensure pets are secure or indoors during service visits. DVS is not responsible if a pet escapes the service area due to not being properly secured. For the safety of our technicians, all pets must be secured prior to service. If a pet is present and poses a safety concern, service may be skipped without refund. Dogville Scoopers reserves the right to take reasonable measures to protect its technicians from injury in the event of an aggressive animal.

DVS is not liable for illness or injuries related to pet waste left behind service visits or from additional service options being applied.

Dogville Scoopers provides complimentary dog treats during service visits. By receiving services, the Customer acknowledges and agrees that all treats are offered on an optional basis and may contain ingredients that could cause allergic reactions or sensitivities in certain pets. Dogville Scoopers is not responsible or liable for any illness, injury, allergic reaction, or adverse effect that may occur as a result of a pet consuming any treat provided. It is the Customer’s sole responsibility to notify Dogville Scoopers of any known allergies or restrictions and to decline treats if desired. If pet has known allergies or restrictions, treats will not be provided with service. Clients may opt out of complimentary treats at any time by notifying Dogville Scoopers in writing.

Cancelling Service:

Cancellation requests must be submitted either through the client portal as a “Change Request” or by emailing a cancellation request to info@dogvillescoopers.com. Other forms of cancellation will not be accepted.

DVS customers reserve the right to cancel their service subscription at any time. Services already completed, scheduled, or billed are non-refundable and non-creditable. Service appointments will continue until the current billing period ends unless otherwise stated. If written (emailed) cancellation notice is received prior to the next renewal date, DVS will not process charges for the following billing period.

Clients are responsible for notifying DVS of cancellations or service changes (Ex: change in number of dogs, change in frequency, etc.) before their next billing renewal date. Refunds or credits will not be issued for billing periods already charged due to failure to provide notice prior to renewal.

Refunds & Satisfaction Guaranteed:

If a client is left unsatisfied with our service, they must notify us by email at info@dogvillescoopers.com within 24 hours for a resolution. We strive to do our best in ensuring a happy customer and a clean yard.

Refunds and credits are not given for any of our services. Except where explicitly stated (such as holiday service credits), refunds and credits are not provided.

DVS is committed to providing exceptional scooping services. DVS recognizes that keeping your yard well-maintained can be challenging, and it may not always be in scoop-ready condition. Customers acknowledge that locating dog waste in tall grass, leaves, or other debris can be challenging. If the scooping service area contains tall grass, rocks, pebbles, leaves, mulch, straw, plants, or other debris, DVS can't guarantee a spotless pet waste removal service. Complete pet waste removal from all sections of the service area is not guaranteed. DVS does not move furniture, trampolines, or other personal items, and technicians do not crawl under play areas, trampolines, or other obstructed spaces to remove pet waste.

Weather:

Dogville Scoopers may cancel or reschedule due to extreme weather conditions or unforeseen circumstances. This notice may be given with less than 24-hour notice. DVS will do the best during challenging weather conditions, including severe storms, high winds, flooding, mud, extreme temperatures, and more. DVS operates on a monthly subscription model and does not issue refunds for services missed due to inclement weather. If DVS is unable to complete a scheduled service due to weather, service will resume on the next scheduled service date. If possible, DVS will make up the missed service (at DVS discretion).

Staff Out of Office/Holiday:

DVS observes the following holidays and may not operate on these days: New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Veterans Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas Eve/Christmas Day.

If your scheduled service falls on a holiday, DVS may service your yard as planned, reschedule service for another day that week, or skip the service. If a service is skipped due to time off or the holiday, a credit will be applied to the next billing cycle.

Client information is kept confidential and will not be shared with third parties unless required by law.
